Our Customer Service Department is anchored by a premier contact center whose innovative services are vital to transforming the health of the communities we serve. We aim to provide a superior experience by helping each customer to efficiently and effectively access and navigate the healthcare enterprise.
The Customer Service Department offers a comprehensive suite of contact center services designed to support clinical care initiatives, patient care and disease management services in conjunction with member and provider relations. Specifically, we provide direct phone access to customer service representatives knowledgeable in the areas of benefit coverage, claims processing and provider referrals. Our customer service representatives also serve as the frontline for integrated patient and provider solutions. The Customer Service Department handles requests for everything from prescription refills to test results, inquiries about billing and insurance, and the scheduling and cancelation of doctors’ appointments.
The Montefiore Contact Center has both English and Spanish-speaking representatives and can assist speech or hearing impaired callers.
